Jyotish: Classification of Horoscope Houses by Life Goals
According to this Vedic classification, we can determine the goals of a person's life: why he came into the world, what he needs to achieve in this life.
The astrological chart is divided into 12 houses and each house has a certain function and signals a certain purpose in life.
1st, 5th and 9th are the houses of the Dharma, 2nd, 6th and 10th are the houses of Artha, 3d, 7th and 11th are the houses of Kama and 4th, 8th and 12th are the houses of Moksha.
Now let's decipher what Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha mean.
Dharma houses
Dharma is a duty, a way of appointing a person, literally it is translated as something that supports, that matters. This is a spiritual socio-moral law that a person must follow in this life for universal balance and harmony.
First house is the main feature of our character, 5th house is our knowledge and values, 9th house shows the higher goals to which we aspire.
Artha houses
Artha is a person's acquisition and accumulation of material values and resources, his well-being and wealth, career and social realization.
Artha is considered a noble goal if it is dictated by the principles of Vedic morality and includes the attainment of fame, the acquisition of knowledge and professional skills, as well as wealth, a privileged position in society and power.
House 2 shows the wealth we own, house 6 shows the work, the scope of our ministry, and the challenges we face, and house 10 shows the measure of our accomplishments through work.
Kama houses
Kama - is a person receiving various earthly pleasures. Kama translates as desire, passion, pleasure, pleasure. These people always want something, set goals and achieve them. These people have a high level of vital energy and they are achievements in the good sense of the word.
House 3 defines the basics of our life energy, house 7 shows how we strive to use this energy, house 11 is the goals we can achieve with it.
Moksha houses
Moksha - means higher liberation from various earthly preferences and life mirages.
The 4th house symbolizes our desire for peace and happiness, the 8th house shows the struggles and trials we must go through for this desire to come true, the 12th shows the sacrifices we will have to make for this purpose, what we will have to part with and let go of.
The predominance of one or another life goal will be determined by the presence in the houses of the horoscope of a larger number of planets, because it is the planets that give strength and content to astrological houses.
